The generic Cessna 172 Cockpit Familiarization Package (FAM PAK) contains a 1:1 scale cardboard stand-alone structure of the cockpit, a 24in personal size handheld cockpit poster and a CD-ROM application for cockpit familiarization.

The high quality Cessna 172 cockpit controls and instrumentation are reproduced exactly and undergo strict quality control to ensure the technical accuracy of the artwork. The artwork is subjected to further review by training department personnel of a qualified air carrier operating the aircraft.  The Generic Cessna 172 graphics are based on the ever popular Cessna 172N model.

The 1:1 cardboard stand-alone structure comes equipped with a stand on the back to enable the trainee to have it on the edge of a desk while practising procedures and checks.

The 24in handheld cockpit poster is a cockpit representation that has been scaled down to a manageable size, while remaining legible, to provide trainees with a practical cockpit training poster for reference purposes.  Student Handheld Poster is ideal for transport to and from the classroom.  The cockpit graphics are printed on high-quality bond paper using state-of-the-art Hewlett Packard large-format inkjet plotters.  HP is a producer of large-format plotters of the highest quality and resolution in the printing industry.

The Point-And-Learn (PAL) CD-ROM Cockpit Familiarization Application allow the user to zoom into each control and indication and receive a breif description of its use in the cockpit.  This high resolution computer application of the cockpit can also be used to practice procedures and checks.
